2005 MLB Hall-of-Famer Wade Boggs will be on site to celebrate! 250 tickets will be distributed at 7:30 am on Wednesday, May 10th for the Wade Boggs autograph session at the new store in Homosassa. Tickets are limited to one (1) per customer. Autograph session will start at 10am.
During his 18-year career, Wade Boggs played third base primarily for the Boston Red Sox (1982–‘92), but also for the New York Yankees (‘93–‘97) and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays (‘98–‘99). He was a 12-time All Star and received 2 Gold Gloves Awards, 8 Silver Sluggers Awards and was a 5-time AL Batting Champion. He is known as a career leader in batting average, having 3,010 career hits. He was a member of the 1986 AL Champion Red Sox and a member of the 1996 World Champion Yankees. Both his #26 jersey with the Red Sox and his #12 jersey with the Rays were retired in his honor.
